bay restaurant opened in summer 2003 by local sisters who were born and raised in Clontarf. We wanted to open a restaurant that would provide good value food made from the freshest ingredients available to us.
We would like you to remember us as a casual dining experience in warm surroundings with lovely views of Dublin Bay.
Our Head Chef, Foued Belabbas, has been with us for the past 6 years. Foued is from Algeria and has worked in Montreal, California and Canada where he had his own restaurant for 3 years.
Our Philosophy
We believe at bay that healthy lifestyle anchors wellbeing, boosts energy & vitality. Our philosophy is to create seasonal, daily delivered fresh & affordable cuisine. Our new menu design is intended to offer an experience in which our guests can have a healthy guide that caters for all dietary needs & conscious eating, while still maintaining full flavored dishes.
Our new” Hot Stone” unique in Clontarf an innovative dining experience that allows the customer to cook the fresh meats they have selected on a volcanic stone slab. This method seals in the natural juices of the food, providing extraordinary flavors & taste as well as cooking it in the most health conscious way along with a concise selection of interesting wines from all around the world.
