Bay food & wine is a family restaurant in Clontarf with international
cuisine run by two local sisters. Bay was established and opened in 2003 and has since been successfully serving the entire community of Clontarf as well as customers from throughout Dublin. Bay provides good value food from the freshest ingredients in a warm casual dining environment with spectacular views of Dublin bay. Our newly refurbished 50-seat-restaurant (plus 30-seat-terrace) is open 7 days a week and varies with five different types of menus- breakfast, lunch, early bird, a la cart & our extremely popular brunch at weekends. Bay caters for all needs of their customers from individuals to groups as well as private parties.
"After listening to our customers and the many requests for food information we decided to create a more informed menu focusing on the dietary & nutritional needs of our customers and so all our staff at bay completed our nutrition course in 2010.
Bay went on to introduce its brand new ,totally unique concept of a dietary needs & conscious eating designed menu where all the allergen symbols and calorie ratings were attached to each dish so Bay's customers with any food allergies no longer had to find themselves uncomfortable by having to ask about the content of every dish on the menu."
Bay was the first restaurant in Ireland to have all this information displayed on the menu and got a great recognition and an extremely positive feedback not only from our own customers, but from national and local media such as The Irish Times, Irish Independent, RTE's The Front Line and Operation Transformation and also The Afternoon Show on TV3 to name but a few to which we are very proud.
